As far back as I can remember I have always had some kind of camera in my hand and along with a passion for wildlife and the environment, it was inevitable that I was going to become a full time wildlife photographer at some point (despite other careers trying to get in the way!).

Whilst having worked with film in my early years of serious photography, the evolution of digital SLR's really helped to me to spend more time in the field rather than processing reels of film.

I work across North Yorkshire, sometimes venturing further afield to the Highlands of Scotland for example, but the majority of photographic work I undertake is upon my doorstep within the Yorkshire Dales. Here I can find a wide range of habitats and species within the beautiful landscape.

All of the images within the Gallery sections of the website can be purchased as prints or files for publication (please see the sales page for further information). I also produce a range of A5 size greetings cards supplied complete with envelopes.
